Set off on a 3-day, 2-night horseback adventure in the heart of the Haut-Giffre Valley, in Samoëns. This unforgettable ride takes you through the breathtaking natural landscapes of the Cirque du Fer-à-Cheval, with one night spent in the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval Nature Reserve and another in a traditional mountain refuge.
Program
Day 1: Into the Nature Reserve
Welcome and meet your riding guide
Departure on horseback toward the Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval Nature Reserve
Overnight stay at Camping Le Pelly in a comfortable lodge tent for 2 people, with shared bathroom facilities
Day 2: Riding to the Mountain Heights
Early departure toward Refuge des Fonts, located at over 1,600 meters altitude
Discover the spectacular natural cirque at the foot of Le Buet, known as the “Ladies’ Mont Blanc”
Overnight stay in a shared dormitory at Refuge des Fonts
Day 3: Return Through Alpine Trails
Horseback descent into the valley
Ride along part of the legendary GR5 hiking trail
Arrival in Les Allamands, a charming hamlet nestled beneath the Dents Blanches peaks and the Golèse Pass
